Consider the Advantages of Arranging Your Own Training!
The Cooperative Parenting Institute offers one, two and three day training opportunities in your local area.
As a sponsoring individual or organization each participant will save the expense of airfare, hotels, meals, taxies and other traveling fees. You will be able to see your family and even a few clients in the evenings. You can control the dates, the fees and the location of the training to work around your schedule.
Two options for customizing your training.
OPTION #1: Sponsor the Training
- Advertise the PC training
- Collect training fees from participants
- Select and pay for the training location
- Provide coffee and light food
- Pay trainer's training fee: $1500.00 per day
- Pay trainer's travel fee: $500.00 per travel day
- Pay trainer's flight, hotel, meals and other travel expenses
Sponsor determines participant's training fee. The number of
participants would not be a deterent as long as the expenses indicated above are covered by participant's fee.
OPTION #2: CPI Sponsored Training
- Sponsor advertises PC training
- Sponsor guarantees a minimum of ten participants
- CPI requires a participant training fee of $500.00
- CPI provides the space and all associated expenses
- CPI pays trainer's fees
- CPI receives all training fees paid by participants
Payment Schedule:
- 50% training fee due four weeks prior to training
- 50% training fee due first day of training
- Reimburse expenses last day of training
Advantages:
- Cost Savings: Approximate costs associated with out of town three day training.
- Training Fee: $400 .00 (Three day - 20 hrs.)
- Hotel: $300.00+ (Two or three overnights)
- Meals: $100.00
- Flight: $250.00 - $400.00 (minimum depending upon location)
- Tip/Taxi: $ 50.00 - 70.00
Approximate costs associated with out-of-town training = $1,100 + per participant.
Approximate costs associated with in-town training = $500.00 per participannt.

OPTION #1: Sponsor the Training
I understand that in order to secure training dates for ____/___/____ through ___/___/____ a non-refundable security deposit of $_________ must be received four weeks prior to date of training.
The training will start at __________ am. and end at __________ pm. each day. A one-hour lunch and a total of 30-minutes of break time will be included in each day’s activities. Therefore the amount of training time shall be:

- Copying of power point presentation/various handouts for each participant
- Additional Continuing Education Credits other than NASW and NBCC
- Hotel Accommodations for Trainer
- OPTIONAL: Purchase of Parent Guide: “Cooperative Parenting & Divorce: A Parent Guide for Effective Co-Parenting”: $10.00 per participant ($20.00 Value)

Trainer’s Expenses Paid by Sponsoring Organization:
- Training Time: $1,500.00 per day which includes breaks and lunch
- Training Day: 9 Hours including one-hour lunch and total of 30-minutes of break time spread throughout the day
- Additional Time: $150.00 per hour
- Travel Time: $500.00 per day
- Airfare/Mileage (Trainer makes arrangements, bills to Organization)
- Travel to and from the training location
- Hotel Accommodations: Including day prior to training and last day of training
- Meal Allowance: $40.00 per day
Trainer Responsibilities & Expenses
- Power Point Training Presentation
- Continuing Education Credits for NASW, NBCC, PA LPC/LMFT/LSW, TX LPC/LMFT, PA BAR
- Daily Training Outline (to be copied by Sponsoring Organization)
- Handouts (to be copied by the Sponsoring Organization)
- Evaluations (to be copied by the Sponsoring Organization)
- Certificate of Completion for each participant
- Sign in Sheets
- Disk containing reproducible forms for each participant
- OPTIONAL: Purchase of Parent Guide: “Cooperative Parenting & Divorce: A Parent Guide for Effective Co-Parenting”: $10.00 per participant ($20.00 Value)

Timeline:
- The Sponsoring Organization agrees to pay a non-refundable security deposit of $__________.
- The trainer agrees to provide copies of all materials requiring duplication to the Sponsoring Organization by __________.
- Sponsoring Organization agrees to provide the Trainer with the number of participants no later than 3 days prior to the dates of the first day of training.
- The Sponsoring Organization agrees to pay Trainer in full no later than 12:00 pm on the last day of the training session.
