This tool was created to help young children quantify "how much?" Since they do not have the vocabulary to express accurately between feeling mildly frustrated, irritated, annoyed or angry this book will provide the child with a way to discriminate feelings and rate them. Anger, affection, sadness, happiness and other feelings are rated in ways the young child will immediately identify with.
This simple flip book provides 29 pages of activity sheets that may be reproduced by play therapists or school counselors working with young children ages 3-10 years. In addition each section provides information regarding different ways in which each sheet may be used with young children. Several of the work sheets use a rating scale of 1-5 which allows the therapist to monitor the child’s progress throughout treatment which is particularly helpful with managed care companies.
